Level 1 Ballet

Service Description

This class will be for 6 to 8 year olds. In this class, children will learn basic ballet steps and the French words for those steps. Those basic steps will be put together to create combinations that the student will learn. The 45 minute class will have a warm-up, center practice, and moving across the floor. Props, such as tamborines, castanets, and scarves will be used to enhance the practice. The class will focus on building strength, ballet technique, musicality, and having fun! An Italian folk dance called a "Tarentella" will be taught with small tambourines.
